PPP Leads in Compensation Packages
February 24th, 2007 by Sarthak K
I Joined PPP very recently to put sponsored posts on this blog once in a while to support my filmmaking finances. I'm especially concerned about my final short film project and need some cash urgently. PPP is one source where I could gather between 15-20 % of my production budget.
Anyways, I'm glad I joined PPP for more reasons than one. For example, PPP only charges a 35% service fee as compared to ReviewMe that charges a 100% mark up. So they would actually run off with half my money if I joined them - and I have no intention of doing so. ReviewMe is too snobbish, I believe PPP can get me decently paid opportunities more often. And it definitely makes sense for high traffic and low traffic bloggers alike (for the uninitiated, you - the reader, are the traffic!)
Recently they have introduced a new "segmentation system", where they plan to avoid bloggers with high traffic blogs. According to them,
Aah dont look at me like that. I'm not qualified for that amount yet. Somewhere near a 100th of that amount is what I earn, but I am quite satisfied with that. After all, something is always better than nothing!
Now PPP seems to be going the right way. In the earlier days, it was mostly page rank that mattered and nothing else. Later on, some advertisers started cribbing that they did not want thier sponsored posts to be published on Blogspot, Xanga, Typepad or Myspace blogs. And now, they are rewarding traffic. Blog marketing is slowly but surely evolving!

You could make $1000 for a single sponsored post!
